Seun Kuti, a Grammy-nominated singer from Nigeria, has shared his story of almost avoiding a stray bullet in the US.
According to BASEMEDIA News, on Sunday night, May 5, 2025, Kuti posted a video of the terrifying incident to his Instagram feed.
The musician clarified that the bullet inadvertently entered his hotel room through the window.
“I read somewhere that these are the civilized people,” he remarked.
Tell me you’re in America, but don’t actually say that. I was just relaxing in my hotel room when this unexpected event occurred.
In the meantime, Seun Kuti has criticized feminists and Nigerian celebrities for not endorsing Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the senator for the Kogi Central Senatorial District.
He bemoaned the fact that ladies have not stood with Akpoti-Uduaghan the way they did for Annie Idibia throughout their divorce battle with 2Face.
He bemoaned on Instagram that while the Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje Lamborghini Scandal has been the subject of much discussion, the sexual harassment accusation has not been investigated.
“I completely support Senator [Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan] in the sexual harassment case in the Senate,” he declared.
Because this accusation [against the Senate President] is not even new to her. The silence of these so-called female activists is disgusting.
