An hour before his old team’s match against Liverpool on Sunday, Sir Alex Ferguson, the iconic former manager of Manchester United, was taken to the hospital.
Media reports state that Ferguson, a frequent visitor to the team’s Old Trafford stadium, became ill while visiting the Theatre of Dreams getting ready to watch the crucial Liverpool game and was taken to the hospital.
Confirmation that the hospital visit was precautionary and that no serious health concern was mentioned also allayed public fears.
