Jurgen Klopp, the former manager of Liverpool, has previously questioned Manchester United’s decisions to re-sign players like Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo. Klopp made this statement on The Diary of a CEO podcast. Pogba and Ronaldo were both re-signed by Manchester United in 2016 and 2021, respectively.
