When Antoine Semenyo’s £65 million release clause kicks in January, Premier League competitors will be rushing to recruit him from Bournemouth. Semenyo’s release clause is £60 million plus £5 million in add-ons, according to Sky Sports. But during the winter window, it is only operational until a specific date. Semenyo signed a new five-year contract with the Cherries in the summer that included the clause. Before the Ghanaian decided to stay with Bournemouth, a few teams had made inquiries about him.But next year, teams like Tottenham, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal will want to sign the player. This season, Semenyo has already scored six goals in the league. 20% of any profit made on the 25-year-old would go to Bristol City, who sold Semenyo to the Cherries for about £10 million in January 2023.
