According to Nigeria’s Chief Justice, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, athletics are essential to preserving the emotional equilibrium of judges and guaranteeing the smooth operation of the legal system. Speaking during the 31st annual judiciary sports competition at Uyo Township Stadium, Kekere-Ekun said the competition has developed and strengthened a committed workforce of men and women with both physical and mental well-being.Justice Uchechukwu Onyemenam, Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, Calabar Division, on behalf of the CJN, also emphasized the competition’s contribution to strengthening staff ties. “I am honored and privileged to be here with you on this momentous occasion of the National Sports Association for the Judiciary’s (NASAJ) annual Judiciary Sports Competition opening ceremony.
