After Besiktas’ 3-2 home loss to Istanbul rivals Fenerbahce, Wilfred Ndidi is unable to conceal his disappointment. Besiktas took a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Emirhan Topcu and El Bilal Touré. However, Fenerbahce gained momentum after Orkun Kökçü was sent off, and they rallied to win all the points. Ndidi asserted that Besiktas’ loss was influenced by their numerical advantage. However, the Nigerian international stated that the team must remain cohesive and concentrate on the task at hand. “We were having a good game. We even went ahead 2-0. The opponent gained momentum after we gave up a goal following the red card, Ndidi told bein Sports. We desired to continue playing the game. We were a resilient group. We must expand on that a bit further. We are aware of our quality. We must all remain together.
