Urhobo College, Effurun, and Ogbe-Ijoh Government School, Warri South-West, will square off in the grand finale of the 2025 Delta State Principals’ Cup Football Competition today at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba. This match is a fitting conclusion to weeks of exciting school football throughout the state. The grassroots competition, which is currently in its eighth edition and is supported by Zenith Bank Plc in collaboration with the Delta State Government, has developed into one of Nigeria’s most esteemed venues for identifying young football talent.Over 1,000 schools from Delta State’s 25 Local Government Areas participated in this year’s competition, which began on September 18 at St. Patrick’s Secondary School in Asaba. Two worthy teams, each with their sights set firmly on the coveted title, are left after a fierce round of elimination matches.
