In Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, the 44th Federation of Public Service Games, or FEPSGA, has officially begun. The games, which included teams from federal departments, ministries, and MDAs from all over the country, were opened on Thursday by Governor Ahmadu. Over 80 federal MDA teams took part in the inaugural march past, which was held in Mahmud Ribadu Square. Deputy Governor Kaletapw Farauta represented Governor Fintiri and declared the games to be open. During the opening ceremony, Farauta read the governor’s speech and remarked, “Adamawa State is proud to provide the stage on which national friendship will be displayed in the coming days.” At the opening ceremony, the Federal Ministry of Works took center stage as the parade’s victor, followed by the Ministry of Education and the Federal Inland Revenue Service.Earlier in the week, the field and track competitions began at the Federal College of Education’s Yola sports center. On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the games will conclude.
