The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Debo Ologunagba, stated the party is “utterly disappointed” by the decision of Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah to defect to the ruling APC.
Speaking on Channels Television, Ologunagba acknowledged Mbah’s right to make his political choice, but hinted at knowing the “behind the scene” reasons, warning that consequences will follow. He also mentioned the PDP is aware of “moles undermining the party’s progress.” He concluded by assuring that the PDP’s upcoming national convention in Ibadan in November will serve to rejuvenate the party and reposition it for future electoral challenges.
