Thirteen journalists from different media outlets in Bauchi were hurt in a horrific car accident on Friday while reporting on the North-East Development Commission’s (NEDC) project commissioning. The car carrying the journalists swerved off the road and flipped many times, ejecting the occupants. The event happened along the Yashi-Yelwan Duguri Road in the state’s Alkaleri Local Government Area.The accident occurred soon after a newly built Government Secondary School (GSS) in Yelwan Duguri was commissioned and turned over by the delegation, which was led by Alhaji Uba Maigari Ahmadu, Minister of State for Regional Development.
