The Lagos APC stated that Nigeria is making major, historical efforts to secure the country and bring back national stability despite rising insecurity.
APC spokesman Mogaji Seye Oladejo said President Tinubu declared a Security State of Emergency, which is a strong action showing no tolerance for crime.
In his statement, Oladejo noted that the President’s approval to hire an extra 20,000 police officers, making the total new intake under his government 50,000, proves his dedication to national security.
He said this hiring surge is the biggest security expansion in recent times.
Oladejo claimed that recent events show Tinubu is acting decisively. He stated that Tinubu is taking concrete, historic steps to secure Nigeria, unlike opponents who only talk.
He emphasized that the State of Emergency is a bold, unprecedented move signaling zero tolerance for criminal acts.
He added that the President’s approval for 50,000 total new police personnel is a strategic, far-reaching action by a President refusing to yield any Nigerian land to terrorists.
The spokesman concluded that Tinubu provides capacity while the opposition spreads fear.
