1,261 human resource professionals have been inducted by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM). 34 executive-route Full Members, 474 Practitioner’s Route Associates, and 753 Associate members from the examination route are among the recently inducted members. Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, the President and Chairman of the Governing Council, challenged them with upholding CIPM’s professional standards during his speech during the 68th induction ceremony. He cautioned practitioners that those who operate without certification are still in violation of current legislation and reminded them that only CIPM-certified professionals are legally allowed to practice HR in Nigeria. He declared that the Institute will start delisting non-financial members on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and urged all impacted members to renew their annual dues in order to regularize their position.
