Anton Ferdinand, a former West Ham player, has expressed astonishment that Mohammed Kudus was not signed by Arsenal.
Tottenham Hotspur has signed the Ghanaian international, and Ferdinand thinks the forward would have been a better fit for Arsenal than Noni Madueke.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal and Chelsea have finalized all the necessary paperwork for Madueke to transfer to the Emirates Stadium for a five-year contract.
In the meantime, Kudus has been officially signed by Tottenham.
“He would be on fire in the Arsenal team,” Ferdinand said on the Market Madness podcast on GMS. He performs better in that Arsenal squad, in my opinion, than Madueke and similar players.
Madueke has played for Chelsea in almost 100 games in all competitions, contributing nine assists and 20 goals.
