According to the DAILY POST, Raphael Onyedika turned down the opportunity to sign a new deal with Club Brugge, a Belgian Pro League team.
Onyedika’s contract with the 19th-time Belgian champions is up in one year.
In January, Club Brugge turned down proposals for the Nigerian international from Galatasaray, the Turkish Super Lig champions.
Club Brugge has been attempting to get Onyedika to sign a new deal for a while, according to the Belgian news outlet Het Nieuwsblad.
However, the defensive midfielder has stated that he plans to leave the team at the end of the current campaign.
In 2022, Onyedika moved from FC Midtylland in Denmark to Club Brugge.
