Transfer: ‘Shame on you’ – Karakullukçu criticizes Drogba for ‘seducing’ Osimhen to join Chelsea

Turkish pundit Ugur Karakullukçu has criticised Chelsea legend Didier Drogba for allegedly ‘seducing’ Victor Osimhen to join the Blues during this summer’s transfer window.

Osimhen has consistently stated that Drogba, who once played for Galatasaray, is his football idol.

The Nigeria international enjoyed a brilliant loan spell at Galatasaray last season, helping the club secure both the Turkish Süper Lig title and the Turkish Cup.

The Napoli striker, however, has yet to decide on his future following the expiration of his loan deal with Galatasaray.

The 26-year-old has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus, and Galatasaray, who are keen to sign him permanently.

In the past, Drogba and fellow Chelsea legend John Mikel Obi have reportedly been involved in trying to influence Osimhen’s decision in favour of a move to the Blues.

However, Karakullukçu believes Drogba wants Osimhen to play for Chelsea and is attempting to undermine Galatasaray’s efforts to retain the striker permanently.

He labelled the Ivorian a ‘shame’ and urged him to remain neutral regarding Osimhen’s next career move.

Karakullukçu stated through his YouTube channel, as reported by habersarikirmizi: “Additionally, Didier Drogba wants Osimhen to join Chelsea. Drogba also aims to ruin the agreement.

“His statements regarding Mourinho had caused him to fall out of favour with the fans. Galatasaray fans will never hold Drogba in the same regard as Mario Jardel and Mauro Icardi.

“If you plan to lure Osimhen to Chelsea, that’s disgraceful. He ought to have stayed neutral.
