Poor facilities at the international wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja have been bemoaned by air travelers, particularly those operating foreign flights. The inadequate cooling system has been the subject of complaints from those who have passed through the terminal in the past two weeks.Over the years, the facility has been reported to experience power outages that cause the entire terminal to go dark, even during the most crucial time of night when the majority of international airlines are processing their passengers. Daily Trust is aware that although new air conditioners are purchased nearly annually, they malfunction much too frequently. Many Nigerians continue to voice their displeasure with the airport’s deteriorating facilities on a daily basis when international flights come.
