In the AFCON opener, Zambia strikes late to hold Mali.

Zambia held Mali to a 1-1 draw in their opening Africa Cup of Nations match on Monday, with Leicester City forward Patson Daka leaving in injury time. In the last seconds of extra time, Daka, who has only scored once for Leicester in the English Championship this season, launched himself at a cross from Mathews Banda to give the Chipolopolo an improbable point. At the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca, El Bilal Toure missed a penalty late in the first half despite Mali controlling most of the Group A match.
