Trump denounces the murder of an Israeli embassy employee in Washington.

The shooting deaths of two Israeli embassy employees outside a Jewish museum in Washington on Wednesday night have been denounced by US President Donald Trump.

Trump said that antisemitic killings must stop in a post on his Truth Social platform on Thursday, saying that such brutality has no place in this nation.

“These terrible murders in D.C., which are clearly motivated by antisemitism, must stop immediately!

“The United States is not a place for hate and radicalism.”

“My condolences to the families of the victims,” he said, expressing his sympathy for the bereaved families. How tragic that such occurrences can occur!

The attack happened on Wednesday evening close to Georgetown University Law School and the FBI’s Washington field office, at the intersection of Third Street and F Street NW.

There is only one suspect in custody, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

According to Police Chief Pamela Smith, the man reportedly shouted “Free Free Palestine” before being held.

The victims were identified as staff members of the Israeli Embassy who had been attending an event given by the American Jewish Committee at the museum.
