Goke Bajowa, a well-known gospel singer, and Boye Best have finally resolved their copyright dispute.
The reconciliation took place on Wednesday night at Boye Best’s new album launch in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
This occurred a few days after Bajowa threatened to sue Boye Best for allegedly using his timeless song “Iwo Ko Lodami” in album launch promotions, giving the impression that Boye was the song’s owner.
In response to the threat in a video on his Instagram page, Boye refuted the allegation and clarified that a lounge manager had created the promo video without his consent.
However, the music stars were seen performing together last night at Boye Best’s album launch in a recent Instagram video that Bajowa posted on Thursday.
“One love, one family,” Bajowa said in the video after giving a hug. Boye is a decent person. I was told about him by numerous people, but I didn’t think it was true. Given what I have witnessed over the past four days, I believe I will now have to concur. Blessings from God. We’ll work together to stream and organise the paperwork.
Singers Alayo, KS1 Malaika, 9ice, actor Adeniyi Johnson, Mr. Latin, and Dele Omo Woli are among the other attendees.
