Police in Adamawa State have apprehended two individuals suspected of involvement in kidnapping and related threats in the Sarau Belel area of Maiha Local Government. The arrests took place on December 26, 2025, following a report from a local resident who claimed the pair had threatened him. The suspects, identified as 36-year-old Sunday Yakubu and 38-year-old Daniel Yakubu, also reportedly admitted to the November 2024 abduction of the complainant’s brother. State Police Commissioner Dankombo Morris directed the successful operation, and the suspects are currently providing information to investigators after confessing to the crimes.
