U-17 WWCQ: Benin Republic resumes training for the match against the Flamingos

According to the DAILY POST, the Benin Republic’s Young Amazons have begun training for their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualification match against Nigeria’s Flamingos.

The Missérič Excellence Center is where the team is camped.

Thirty players were invited to camp for the final qualifying round match by head coach Idah Azonsou.

Before the match against the Flamingos, Azonsou is anticipated to reduce the list.

On Saturday, July 4, Nigeria will host the opening leg at the Remo Stars Sports Complex; the second match will take place in Kegue a week later.

The overall champion will advance to Morocco’s U-17 Women’s World Cup.
