After Paris Saint-Germain overcame Bayern Munich 5-4 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday, former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour praised two individuals.
Parlour gave Luis Diaz and Michael Olise particular recognition for their performances in an interview with talkSPORT on Wednesday.
He maintained that Diaz was excellent and Olise was in a different class than the Parisians.
“Olise belonged to a distinct class. Going forward, Luis Diaz was excellent for Bayern on that left-hand side, according to Parlour.
“Looking at it now, I’m sure Atletico Madrid and Arsenal will be thinking, ‘Wait a minute, if we get them in the final, then one of us is going to have to be at our best if we’re going to beat Bayern Munich or PSG.'”
