Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has once again praised Arsenal ahead of their Wednesday night trip to Burnley.
With a victory, City will have the opportunity to overtake the Gunners at the top of the Premier League.
However, Guardiola, whose club defeated Arsenal 2-1 on Sunday, has maintained that their championship challengers are among the greatest, even in Europe.
“I give incredible credit that we’re there when I’m on the sidelines and see Arsenal,” he remarked.
It’s the best team in the league and a contender for the Champions League.
They have everything, therefore you have to fight hard and perspire a lot to defeat them!
“They have a really competitive mindset and do a lot of excellent stuff.
They perform well when they play short. They win the long ball, second ball when they play long. It’s a nightmare, set pieces.
“I give them a lot of credit for competing with them, defeating them the last two times, and so on. I give these players a great deal of credit. They sense it and are aware of it!
