Union Bank of Nigeria held its first-ever Stay Recharged Health Walk to demonstrate its dedication to sustainable workplace development and employee well-being. The Union Bank headquarters in Marina, Stallion Plaza, was the starting point of the walk. After a thrilling 7.5-kilometer journey through the lively streets of Lagos, it came to an end at the Bank’s Sports Complex, The Stable, on Bode Thomas Street, Surulere. It was a celebration of physical fitness, mental health, and the strength of community spirit, thanks to the tremendous participation and excitement of staff members from many departments and locationsA key component of Union Bank’s employee value offer is employee wellness, which is carefully designed to promote a culture where productivity, happiness, and health thrive. This is the inspiration behind the featured event, Stay Recharged. The project directly addresses the pressing demand for wellness initiatives that foster employees’ physical and mental well-being in the workplace.
