After spending weeks in Kuje prison for allegedly impersonating social media commenter Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, celebrity Nigerian bitcoin entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, also known as Blord, has been granted release.
In a brief statement posted on his official Facebook page on Friday, activist and former presidential candidate Omolere Sowore revealed this.
He claims that following Blord’s arraignment in Federal High Court, Abuja, he was released on his own recognizance.
However, he claimed that as part of Blord’s bail requirements, the court mandated that he deposit his international passport.
