Kola Oyewo, a renowned Nollywood actor, has talked candidly about his struggle with prostate enlargement.
When actor Kunle Afod paid Oyewo a visit, he revealed this.
Regarding his absence from the screen, the 80-year-old actor said that his condition has prevented him from playing specific parts.
Oyewo described how it all began, saying that among other symptoms, he was diagnosed with insomnia and frequent urination.
“I thank God for keeping me alive, even if there are a lot of individuals my age who are still stronger than me. After experiencing restless nights, frequent urination, and occasionally urinating on my body before reaching the toilet, I drove myself to the hospital. I was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate following a battery of testing,” he stated.
According to the DAILY POST, Oyewo entered the film business in 1964 and became well-known for his roles in “The Gods are not to blame” and “Sango.”
Additionally, from 1996 until his retirement in 2011, he taught at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
