Yul Edochie, a Nollywood actor, has given men advice on how to deal with disrespect in their marriages.
In a post on X on Wednesday, Yul offered the guidance.
The actor asked men to quit putting up with rude partners while labeling respect as their right in marriage. Making the observation that “Your respect as a man is non-negotiable”
He advised guys who are being treated disrespectfully to quit their marriages and find a respectful companion right away.
“Men should quit putting up with foolishness in the name of a relationship or marriage. Dump your wife or girlfriend right away and find someone who appreciates you if they don’t,” he said.
Reactions to Yul’s marriage to his estranged wife, May Edochie, were triggered by his mysterious tweet.
According to the DAILY POST, Yul declared actress Judy Austin to be his second wife in April 2022 although he was still legally wed to May.
May, who accused Yul of bigamy in 2023, filed for divorce on the grounds of infidelity and claimed N100 million in damages from Judy.
