Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport and Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo International Airport, Port Harcourt, received Aerodrome Certificates from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) last week. This action demonstrated the airports’ readiness for and dedication to aviation safety. Olubunmi Kuku, the managing director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), received the certificates. The breakthrough, according to the study, highlights FAAN’s strategic drive to establish certification as a fundamental component of airport operations throughout Nigeria.Four airports now hold certification, including Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
