Wilfred Ndidi, the captain of the Super Eagles, was suspended for one game in Turkey, according to the DAILY POST.
This weekend’s home match between Beşiktaş and Alanyaspor will be missed by Ndidi.
During the Eagles’ 1-0 loss to Fenerbahçe last weekend, the 29-year-old was given his fourth booking of the year.
Last summer, the defensive midfielder signed with the Istanbul giants.
This season, Ndidi has made 25 league appearances for Beşiktaş, recording two goals and one assist.
Beşiktaş is ranked fourth in the Turkish Super Lig standings.
