Players who excelled at the recent Bayelsa State Governor’s Cup (the ‘Prosperity Cup’) are invited to the South-South zonal U-17 national team screening. Specifically, 18 of them are invited.
A scouting team dispatched by Coach Manu Garba, led by Mr. Paul Ojo Omamomo (a FIFA licensed football agent), identified the exceptional talents.
Zonal screening commenced yesterday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo and will conclude on Thursday, July 3. This screening exercise is designed to identify talented players for the upcoming Golden Eaglets squad.
