Ahead of the 2025/26 season, Kano Pillars have included Ahmed Musa in their squad

Kano Pillars, who have won the Nigerian championship four times, have included Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa in their roster of players for the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

After a one-month break following the end of the 2024/2025 season, Kano Pillars will resume pre-season training today, June 30.

In a related development, the management of the club has named core players who have been retained and are expected to report for the first training session.

They are Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, Raibu Ali “Pele”, Muttaka Musa, Abdullahi Abubakar, Fahad Usman, Dawud Ibrahim, Abdullahi Ali, Yusuf Bala Maigoro, Naziru Auwalu Ibrahim, Aminu Adam Sani, Habibu Yakubu, Mustapha Umar, and Ibrahim Sani Halliru.

Also listed is Jerry Alex, Umar Sani Yakasai, Auwal Ali Malam, Imran Ahmad, Sudais Ali Baba, Zaharadeen Bello, Shehu Abdullahi, Yusuf Abdullahi, Okeke Destiny Abuchi, Bright Emmanuel, Ibrahim Inuwa, and Mubarak Lawan.
