Leke Abejide, the legislator for Kogi State’s Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency, has claimed that he finances the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, the opposition alliance.
During an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily program on Thursday, Abejide asserted that the opposition coalition headed by former Senate President David Mark would fail.
The congressman added that he could not rule out switching to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Ahead of the general elections in 2027, the opposition alliance on Tuesday endorsed the ADC as its political party, according to BASEMEDIA NEWS.
Additionally, the coalition named former Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola as its National Secretary and former Senate President David Mark as its acting National Chairman.
