The Safe Online Project’s 2025 edition has begun, with NerdzFactory Company and Meta reaching more than 14,000 participants in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, and Ekiti.
The training will help to create a secure online environment and enable skills necessary for youth digital wellbeing, according to Phil Oduor, Head of Policy Programs, Sub Saharan Africa at Meta, who spoke about the plan for this year’s edition, which has as its theme “Empowering Communities for a Safer Digital Future.”
The founding partner, NerdzFactory Company, Ade Olowojoba emphasised on the importance of digital safety, saying it is pivotal for national development
