Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has responded to reports that he and the team were at odds after their Champions League loss.
Relevo claims that the dressing room of Los Blancos is becoming more and more suspicious of Ancelotti.
It further stated that after their 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the Champions League quarterfinals, some players have complained to club president Florentino Perez about the Italian’s tactics.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Ancelotti, meanwhile, maintained that anyone discussing a rift “isn’t telling the truth.”
“I’ve talked to the players and the club,” he stated. We are in agreement. We’re wounded.
“You can’t always win in football; these things can happen.
“Our ideas are the same. Since we’re always in the same situation, we haven’t had any conflicts with the club.
“Anyone who discusses a disagreement with the president is lying.”
Although Ancelotti’s team still has a chance to win the Copa del Rey and save their La Liga title, the 65-year-old is probably going to quit the team this summer if they don’t win either.
