At the Estadio de Vallecas on Saturday, Umar Sadiq, a forward for Nigeria, came off the bench to help Valencia draw 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano.
Cesar Tarrega gave Valencia the lead with an own goal just before halftime.
It was in the 66th minute that Sadiq replaced Andre Almeida.
16 minutes from the end, the 27-year-old gave Los Che the equalizer.
In ten league games this season, the Nigerian has now netted five goals for Valencia.
The team led by Carlos Corberán has now gone undefeated in seven straight league games, which is their longest winning streak since December 2021.
