Four teams have been selected by Carlo Ancelotti, head coach of the Brazilian national football team, as the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League this season.
Ancelotti made a statement prior to Tuesday and Wednesday’s Champions League matches this week.
The Italian listed Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain as his top picks to win the tournament.
“Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich are the usual favorites in the Champions League when viewed from the other side of the globe,” Ancelotti told Tutto Sport.
“We’ve witnessed high-goal contests in these first few matchdays, and such spectacular outcomes cause us to lose interest.
“This initial stage has been extended to make it more engaging, but that is not how it is working out.
We must acknowledge that.
At Real Madrid and AC Milan, respectively, Ancelotti won the Champions League.
The Champions League, on the other hand, is currently held by PSG, who defeated Inter Milan 5-0 in the final to win it last season.
