Jigawa reduces 2026 Hajj fare to N7.67 million.

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced a reduction in the 2026 Hajj cost. Intending pilgrims are now required to pay N7,669,769, which is less than the previous price of N8,457,685.

Habibu Yarima, the Board’s spokesman, included this information in a press release he signed.

Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo, the Commission’s Director General, revealed this after signing the 2026 Hajj Agreement involving the Federal Government and the Holy Land Authority.

He mentioned that a decrease of N787,916 was achieved in the Hajj cost due to the involvement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo, who is currently in the Holy Land to arrange accommodation in Mecca for Jigawa pilgrims, stated that the commission has finalized preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

He also advised that the deadline for collecting Hajj payments for the upcoming 2026 Hajj exercise will be next month, urging those who have not yet made deposits to do so promptly to ensure they secure their visas on schedule.

He expressed appreciation to Governor Umar Namadi for his consistent support and cooperation with the Commission.
