Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, claims that God appointed him as a divine goalie entrusted with defending the state against invaders.
In a statement posted on his verified X Twitter, the governor expressed his confidence, citing the success of his government and heavenly confirmation.

Insisting that his administration’s record “speaks for itself,” he emphasized accomplishments in the areas of infrastructure development, workers’ welfare, education, healthcare, and grassroots empowerment.
“I am prepared to visit every town and village to present our accomplishments and unveil an updated Five Point Agenda for a greater Osun as we prepare for the August 15 election,” Adeleke continued.

The people of Osun should make decisions based on “facts, performance, and truth,” he said, urging the opposition to adopt issue-based campaigns instead of personal assaults.
