LaLiga: Capello criticizes Real Madrid regarding Ancelotti’s situation, calling it unfair

Fabio Capello, who previously managed the England national team, has condemned Real Madrid regarding Carlo Ancelotti’s circumstances at the club.

Ancelotti is set to depart from Real Madrid in order to take on the role of head coach for the Brazil national team.

It is anticipated that Xabi Alonso will take over the position at Santiago Bernabeu from the former Everton coach.

However, Capello, a former Real Madrid manager, believes it’s unfair for the LaLiga giants to decide to part ways with Ancelotti at the end of the season.

“Carlo Ancelotti situation? Yes, I still think it’s unfair but in Real Madrid you have to win,” Capello said (via @partidazocope).

“He has won everything, but you have to accept the changes. I won a title and they fired me.”

Ancelotti is Real Madrid’s most successful manager in their history having won 15 trophies including three UEFA Champions League trophies during his time at the club.
