Cristiano Ronaldo, a striker for Al Nassr, has topped Forbes’ list of highest-paid athletes for the third year in a row.
In 2024, the 40-year-old banked approximately £206.6 million, which is £11.2 million higher than his earnings in 2023.
It is thought that Ronaldo’s annual earnings at the Saudi club, which he joined in December 2022 from Manchester United, amount to £177 million.
He is ahead of NBA’s Steph Curry and British boxer Tyson Fury.
Ronaldo’s longtime rival Lionel Messi drops to fifth place from third place in 2024.
