A campaign poster featuring Dele Momodu as Atiku’s running mate in 2027 is shared.

In advance of the 2027 presidential election, publisher and politician Dele Momodu posted a campaign-style poster on social media depicting himself as former vice president Atiku Abubakar’s running mate.

On Monday, Momodu shared the picture on his Facebook page along with a call for national reconciliation, reorientation, and reconstruction.

He predicted that Atiku Abubakar and President Bola Tinubu would face off in the 2027 presidential election.

Momodu believes that the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, ought to take a fresh approach to politics by bridging the divide between technocrats and seasoned politicians as well as between older and younger generations of leaders.

The battle of the Tians is what it looks like. Hopefully, a third force will emerge, as it did in 2023, but it won’t have the firepower and persistence to overthrow and destroy the two older statesmen, he stated.

He maintained that this tactic would alleviate the nation’s escalating political and social unrest and promote national cohesion.

The publisher of Ovation magazine also emphasised the need for increased collaboration between Northern and Southern Nigeria, cautioning that if political leaders do nothing, the nation’s present problems could get worse.

Inspired by the principles of Nigeria’s founding fathers, such as Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Ahmadu Bello, and Chief Obafemi Awolowo, he advocated for a return to issue-based politics and leadership.
