A man accused of misbehavior is arraigned

Samuel Ogundepo, 75, was docked at an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on Wednesday due to allegations of misbehavior.

Ogundepo, whose residence was withheld, entered a not guilty plea to charges of conduct likely to provoke a breach of peace.

Cpl David Adepoju, the prosecutor, informed the court that the defendant had committed the crime in Alalubosa Estate in Ibadan on April 22 at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Adepoju claimed that the defendant’s actions at the aforementioned estate constituted a nuisance and were likely to create a breach of peace.

According to him, the offense was against Oyo State’s 2000 Criminal Laws, Section 249(D).

The offender was given N200,000 in bail by Magistrate Mrs. Kausarat Ayofe, along with an equivalent amount from two trustworthy sureties.

She postponed the hearing until September 25.
