According to PUNCH Sports Extra, Daddy Abdulrahman, who is only two goals behind the top scorer in this season’s Nigeria Premier Football League, promises to give it his “best” in the final stretch.
With 10 goals in 33 games this season, the El-Kanemi Warriors midfielder has been crucial to the team’s success and is optimistic that he will add more goals before the season ends.
In order to stay in the top scorer’s race, the former Shooting Stars SportsClub player stated that he hopes to score two to five goals before the season concludes.
He told NPFL.com.ng, “I am thrilled to be among the top scorers because this is the first season I have scored this many goals in the league.”
Yes, I want to score more goals. You are aware that I am two goals behind the top scorers. I’ll do everything in my power to increase my goal total. Before the season ends, I think I can score two, three, or five more goals. I’ll accept whatever number God gives me,” Abdulrahman continued.
Abdulrahman still hopes to finish as the top scorer for a midfielder in a league where scoring goals may occasionally be challenging even for strikers.
