AFRIMA: Participants Open Up Financing Options for the Music Industry

A major event of the 9th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), the Africa Music Business Summit (AMBS), has stakeholders in the music business preparing. Artists, music executives, investors, legislators, and media experts are anticipated to attend the summit, which is set for Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria, to explore how Africa can develop, safeguard, and benefit from its growing music business. This year’s summit’s theme, “Connect, Build, Own: Monetising Africa’s Music Revolution,” underlines AFRIMA’s emphasis on converting innovation into sustainable economic value.Actor and well-known television host Mojibade Sosanya will co-host the summit alongside Larry Madowo, an award-winning worldwide broadcaster and host of CNN African Voices Changemakers. Panel discussions will be moderated by seasoned experts, such as Victoria Nkong from Nigeria, Nde Ndifonka from Cameroon, and Landry Gnamba from Cote d’Ivoire. Ms. Anna Westerholm, the Swedish ambassador to Nigeria, will give the keynote speech.
