According to the DAILY POST, Ola Aina has thought back on Nottingham Forest’s victory over FC Porto in the UEFA Europa League.
The Tricky Trees defeated Francesco Fariolli’s team 1-0 at the City Ground on Thursday night to secure a spot in the competition’s semifinals.
Morgan Gibbs-White’s goal in the twelfth minute gave Vitor Pereira’s team a 2-1 aggregate victory in the quarterfinal round.
After Jan Bednarek was sent off early, Porto spent most of the match with ten men.
They created challenges for themselves in the game, according to Aina.
“I can’t complain, but we never made things easy for ourselves. I’m pleased that we’ve advanced to the Europa League semifinals,” Aina said to Forest TV.
Aston Villa will play Forest in the semifinals.
