Allegations of Corruption: Court Postpones Case Against Ganduje, Wife Once More

In the corruption and misappropriation case against former Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his wife Professor Hafsat Ganduje, his son Abba Ganduje, and six other people, Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu of the Kano State High Court has postponed the hearing of preliminary objections and all other pending applications until April 15, 2026. The immediate former APC National Chairman, his wife, Abubakar Bawuro, Umar Abdullahi Umar, Jibrilla Muhammad, Lamash Properties Limited, Safari Textiles Limited, and Lasage General Enterprises Limited were all charged with 11 counts of bribery, conspiracy, misappropriation, and diversion of public funds totaling billions of naira by the state state government.
