According to the National Pension Commission (PenCom), between January and November 2025, it collected N4 billion in pensions from employers who were in arrears. Following the implementation of more stringent pension clearing standards, the Commission also reported increased industry compliance, with contribution recoveries reaching N4.04 billion between January and November 2025—a 180% increase over the entire year 2024.At the Pension Revolution Summit in Abuja, Omolola Oloworaran, the Director General of PenCom, revealed the information. In contrast to N1.44 billion for the entire year 2024, total pension recoveries from January to November of current year totaled N4.04 billion Naira. This is a 180% gain, or about 200%.
