At the 70th birthday golf kitty honoring Engineer Andrew Yakubu at TYB International Golf Resort and Country Club (TYB-IGRCC) in Abuja, Fred Otodo won the overall best net award. Otodo, who was playing off a handicap of 24, won the event overall with an incredible gross total of 88 and a net score of 64. Engr. Yakubu, a well-known Nigerian and former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), celebrated his milestone birthday over the weekend in Abuja with dinner, an award ceremony, and a special golf kitty.Over 200 golfers, including professionals, amateurs, women, and veterans, competed in a variety of categories during the tournament, which got underway early on Saturday, November 15.
