Plans for the 2025 golf tournament, which aims to improve bilateral ties and expand economic opportunities between Nigeria and the UK, have been revealed by the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC). The tournament will be held at the Ikoyi Golf Club on December 11, according to Tayo Babalakin, Chairman of the NBCC Golf Committee, who made this announcement during a press conference in Lagos. He referred to golf as a “golden choice,” pointing out that its peaceful atmosphere offers a pleasant diversion from the stressful situations that corporate executives frequently deal with.He clarified that the NBCC Golf Cup serves as a social and networking venue, providing a laid-back environment for more in-depth business interaction among competitors. He stated, “Participation will help companies consolidate brand loyalty among a captive audience of distinguished professionals and provide an avenue to engage key customers and golfing staff.”
