Bishop Abioye discusses his reaction to his wife’s HIV diagnosis.

Bishop David Abioye of the Conquerors Global Assembly disclosed that his wife was diagnosed with HIV at one point during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking during a live Sunday service where he was teaching on the subject of healing, Abioye stated that he immediately rejected the diagnosis and demanded further testing.

He recounted that after offering prayers based on biblical understanding, his wife was re-examined, and this time, the doctors “couldn’t find anything there.”

The Bishop recalled saying: “During COVID-19 they said my wife had HIV, I said no. Not in this body.”

He explained his faith-based response: “By the time they checked her….. Because I got scriptural revelations ‘the prince of this world came to check me and they have found nothing’. so I said go and do the check up.”

He concluded by stressing that healing requires an aggressive approach: “They checked her up and they couldn’t find anything there. Healing is not for gentlemen, you don’t nurse sickness to go, you fight sickness to go.”
